MY LIFE IN WEEKS · ANDROID

Privacy, with
a little clarity.

Privacy policy for My Life in Weeks, provided by Rafanoli.

Effective

Your information stays local

My Life in Weeks is provided by Rafanoli. You enter a birthday and choose a planning horizon so the app can calculate and display your life map, current week, and progress. These values are processed and stored on your device. They are not sent to Rafanoli or our servers.

The app does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, or a developer-operated cloud service. It does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or advertising identifier. The Android app does not have Internet permission.

Home-screen widgets

When you choose to add a widget, the app provides the life-map and progress information needed to display it to your device's launcher. This happens locally. A widget can make this information visible to anyone who can see your home screen. Removing a widget removes that home-screen display; your saved profile remains in the app.

Storage, backup, and deletion

Your birthday and planning horizon are stored in the app's private local storage, protected by Android's app sandbox. The app excludes its stored profile from Android cloud backup and device transfer. We do not keep a remote copy and cannot recover the profile for you.

The profile remains on your device until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. To remove it, open Android Settings, find My Life in Weeks under Apps, and clear its storage, or uninstall the app. Android settings labels vary by device. You can change the saved birthday and horizon using Edit in the app. No account-deletion request is needed because the app has no accounts.

Support messages and external services

If you choose to contact support@rafanoli.com, your email service sends the address and message you provide. The app does not automatically attach your birthday, horizon, or diagnostic files. We use support correspondence to respond to your request and retain it only as needed to resolve the request and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. You can contact the same address to ask about or request deletion of support correspondence.

Google Play, Android, your launcher, and your email or device providers may process installation, payment, or diagnostic information under their own policies and your settings. The app does not add its own tracking or crash-reporting service. If you read this policy on a website, its hosting provider may process ordinary website requests, such as an IP address, under its own policies; the offline app does not send your profile to that website.

Children and the purpose of the app

My Life in Weeks is a time-visualization tool and is not specifically directed at children. The app does not transmit children's personal information to us. A planning horizon is a visualization setting, not a prediction of lifespan or medical advice.

Changes and contact

If the app's data practices change, this policy will be updated with a new effective date and any required disclosures. For privacy questions, support, or requests concerning support correspondence, contact Rafanoli at support@rafanoli.com.
